On December 27, Vietnam's VinFast announced that it will officially begin accepting pre-orders for its two electric vehicle models, the VF e35 and VF e36, worldwide starting from 8:00 a.m. on January 6, 2022. In addition to unveiling the sale and pre-order process for these two models, VinFast also debuted three all-new electric vehicles and a comprehensive technology ecosystem designed to serve consumers at the 2022 Consumer Electronics Show (CES) in Las Vegas, USA. With this launch, VinFast has officially completed its intelligent electric vehicle lineup, covering all five segments—from A to B, C, D, and E.

Zhongshan Hengyongxin Precision provides controller housings for VinFast electric vehicles in Vietnam. Mass production began in December 2021, and from December 2021 to March 2022, 6,700 units were pre-ordered.
